Yuma branch leads city-wide Food Drive.
From December 7, 2009 to January 8, 2010, Mohave State Bank’s Yuma branch will hold a Food Drive for the Yuma Community Food Bank, Salvation Army and Crossroads Mission. The Food Drive will benefit Yuma area families in need of assistance this holiday season. “Putting On the Pounds-For Those in Need” has set a goal to collect over 2,000 pounds of non-perishable food items to assist needy individuals and families in Yuma during the holiday season.“We felt that although we have several community outreach programs, we could still do more to help our community over the holiday season,” says Brian Geren, Mohave State Bank Yuma Market Manager.
Donations for “Putting On the Pounds-For Those in Need” can be dropped off at Mohave State Bank, 1800 S. 4th Avenue, 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call 344-8822 for donation pickup. Individuals donating will be entered into a raffle to win a $100 US Savings Bond.
